Roses are red...
They say, a rose by any other name smells as sweet.
This is so not true!
A stalk of rose compared to a bouquet of roses will definitely smell less sweet.
I strongly believe that the value of flowers and roses lies in the attention that they draw.
On Valentine's Day, every other girl on the streets has a bouquet in hand. If you have none, nobody will look at you. If you have one, only people without will look at you. If you have a small bouquet, only people without flowers or with only a stalk will look at you.
You need a
BIG bouquet on Valentine's Day to tap the value of the roses.
On any other day, a single stalk of rose will draw the attention of many.
When then will you choose to give/receive the rose? It figures right?
Bonus: Flowers cost cheaper when it's not February 14th!
P.S. I have no liking for flowers. Unless maybe it can be eaten/can talk etc?
