The Robber
I narrated this story to Cute QQ and she says it's funny... which I don't think so. But well, it's kinda stupid. :x---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My neighbour stairs, Alvin was in a tutorial room while I am in hall. We were talking to each other via MSN on the laptops.
Moments later...Alvin: Eh.. I go toilet. Help me look after the laptop okay?
QueenPig: ?! How?
Alvin: If I get disconnected, call me immediately. 'Cos it means that someone is stealing my laptop!
QP: Okay! :D
QP: Hi robber. If you are seeing this laptop and thinking of stealing it, think again. 'Cos I will call the owner who is in the toilet, and he will run out and chase after you. Meaning, you will get caught. So, you better not steal this laptop because even if you do, you wouldn't succeed.---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had a wonderful time in CS 229. Especially Yan Xuan. I have to say I'm not the best group mate to have, not for a production class. But she actually managed to tolerate all my bad temper and crappiness. As for Janus and Chrong Meng... they ROCK! These guys are great with such stuff. That said, I have to sorry to all for my horrible temper, or impatience.
Janus: Thanks for helping with the sound edit. I'm so sorry I made you go without sleep, 'cos I had a report to rush. You make a great director!
Chrong Meng: Boss! All those brainstorming for ideas.. Paiseh I may be a bit harsh la, but we all wanted the best for the project, yea? :D You're the greatest BOSS any secretary can have!
Yan Xuan: Muahaha, auntie! Terima kasih for tolerating my craziness and temper. I know you have it hard too. Always the mediator and diplomatic. You go, girl!

Guest Blog Post: Cute QQ and Her Virgin Blog Post
Ok, a long long time ago, b4 we know of the existence of the internet, blogs and parts of the computer called hardware or software (ok la, at least I didn’t know wat they were at tt age), Ailing n I met in a small neighbourhood school in the eastern part of Singapore. There wasn’t exactly a magical moment with the our-eyes-met-n-we-knew-we-were-gonna-be-life-long pals kinda thing. I can’t remember talking to her in sec 1. I juz knew of the existence of someone named Ailing in my class.
Then came sec2. We were seated according to our register numbers in class and she was sitting right at the back, behind my best gal fren (who is now our best common friend), Ying. I ended up at the very front.
Every time the teachers told us to get in groups for discussions, esp for super slack subjects like CME or creative thinking (which btw wasn’t very creatively taught. They printed out black n white notes for us. How creative is tt?!), I would turn ard n we would do the finger pointing thing.
First, point index finger at ur own chest, then point to the person u wanna group with, then wave ur finger back n forth between the both of u while having a wide grin on ur face and raised eyebrows to show u r really interested in grouping with that person. If the person reciprocates the action, then nod vigourously in agreement. If more than 3 members were required in the group, then the action would be repeated with the other groupmates.
In the course of sec2, there was a lot of bitching, backstabbing, crying, fighting… that we witnessed and sometimes were a part of. However, my “goldfish memory” as Ailing would like to put it, doesn’t permit me to describe them in detail. So, we move on to sec3 n 4.
Wahla! For both years, we miraculously sat with each other. Ok, she was sitting in front of me, towards my left. But it was then that the 3 of us, Ying Qing Ling really got to know each other n spend time with each other.
From drawing anime characters on the tables, da bao-ing lor mai kai back to the classroom for recess, doing maths n getting pissed at each other, memorizing Chinese Ting Xie b4 lessons by furiously waving our index fingers in the air to “write” out the words, decorating the classroom for Chinese new yr, to recording our voices in tape recorders n singing songs at the back of the classrooms. In my no-life, low-profile sec sch life (ok, abit contradictory here), the 2 of them were my great sources of entertainment.
Spot Us!
We drifted apart during our time in JC due to our busy schedules n separate groups of friends. Then somehow somehow, they pulled me along to NTU’s open house aft jc n I was impressed enough to apply. Then Tadah~~ we ended up in the same uni as roomies. Ying unfortunately didn’t manage to get in.
Foe those of you who only knew Ailing in NTU, if u still dunno y she calls herself Queenpig, lemme enlighten u. On top of the fact that she loves the animal n has her room filled with pictures, toys, figurines of them. SHE REALLY IS A PIG! Sleeping is her ultimate passion, following which would be pigging-out. (pun intended. Hurhur..) She would give up a lot of things for sleeping. For example, skipping lunch, lessons n even shower to catch a nap. When she is asleep, trying to get her out of bed would be like battling a war with Zhou Gong over her. She is fierce when se is half asleep lor!
I dunno y she bothers to set her alarm to wake up when she takes a nap cuz she almost never wakes up at the time. She juz turns the alarm off n goes back to slp, leaving her poor n hungry roomie to force her outta bed to go out for dinner. The nomal scene would be as follows:
QQ: Ailing, wake up le.
AL: *grunt*.
Then she flips over n goes back to
slp.
5 min later…
QQ: Ailing, wake up le.
AL: eeeergh. *takes in
a sharp intake of breath then fips over again*
Another 10 min later…
QQ: Ailing ar! Wake up le la!
AL: I dun wan to wake up!
Then the process repeats… mormally the time taken to get her outta bed from the time her alarm rings would be ard 20 min if I’m lucky. Sometimes it may drag to 45 min..
However, even thou it is really tough to be her roomie in the late aftnoon period, I gotta give her credit for a lot tt she has done for me too.
First of all, as many ppl already knows, she is my matchmaker. Although she always complains tt it doesn’t pay to be a matchmaker, she still tries to help whenever I get into a fight wif my bf. She would be there to cry with me when I do, n make me laugh right aft tt cuz we would be laughing at how silly the both of us look when we cry together. I seriously wouldn’t have made it this far with my bf if not for her help n encouragement n counseling sessions.
The stupid things we do in hall will be deeply remembered even aft we graduate.. (Stay tuned for more posts on the stupid things we do in hall)
Not to forget staying up late to talk n talk n TALK. We can repeat the same topic over n over again.. And also helping each other in our assignments n fattening each other up with late- nite mocha n cookies.
Woah.. the post is getting super long liao. Ok, I shall wrap up. So, Ailing my dear, Love u lots! Muack! Haha..

I am EM3 no more
Say bye-bye to EM3.The Ultimate Chief (U.C.) of The Farm, on which Piggidom resides, officially called for the end of the streaming of students into EM1, EM2 and EM3.
From now on, students will get to do the subjects they are good in.
"This is to improve the labeling situation here. Things had got so bad, there're movies made to highlight this social issue. To think our citizens flock to the cinefarm to watch it," says the U.C.
However, response among the citizens are varied.
"What is the use of such a system, meh-meh, when some time down the road, meh, they will be labelled as the foundation, meh-meh, kids," says the King of Sheeps.
"What if, hor, just what if, hor-hor, the kids do well in things they don't like, hor, and did badly in subjects they don't like, hor, how, hor-hor," says the Prince of Horses.
